Beatrice was successful in securing a new $435,000 downtown revitalization grant!! More details will be forthcoming on how businesses and property owners can utilize these funds for improvements to their properties that are often over 100 years old. Expect more details to be available in December with individual award announcements coming sometime in January or February.
It appears that priority will be given to the more than 57 property owners who submitted pre-applications.
The funds are intended to assist with Downtown Property improvements such as Facade Renovations, Assistance to Redevelop Upper Floors, Code Compliance Work, Sidewalks, and more.
