The Beatrice Creative District offers a genuine Nebraska atmosphere with unique shops, public art, a local brewery, restaurants, and live performances all nestled among charming and historical architecture. The entrepreneurial spirit rooted in this district fosters creativity and fun with community events, festivals, parades, plays, live music, farmers’ markets, wine tastings, and other experiences for both residents and visitors alike.
Beatrice is located a short 45 minutes south of Nebraska’s capital, Lincoln, and offers a great blend of rural living and urban culture. The Creative District is home to two regional hike-bike trails, kayak access to the Big Blue River, and is your gateway to Homestead National Historical Park, located just four miles west of Beatrice. Local lodging includes hotels, campgrounds, and Air B&B options.
