Look Up! Check out the new banners around Main Street Beatrice!
The new banners help to commemorate the significant 150th Anniversary of the signing of the Homestead Act. Thanks to a generous contribution from the Friends of Homestead, the banners were hung in time to help commemorate this locally and nationally significant anniversary.
The new Main Street Banners are now the fourth set of downtown banners owned by Main Street Beatrice. The 150th banners will hang until the end of 2012. In 2013 Main Street plans to rotate all four banners throughout the year.
